What it does
mcpbus runs as a local MCP server on your Windows machine and connects Claude to SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MySQL. Every query goes through mcpbus first.
Read-only by default. Permissions are set per connection — pick exactly which schemas, tables and operations Claude can touch. Optional hash mode replaces sensitive string values with consistent HMACs, so you can analyse patterns without exposing the underlying data.
Privacy
No data ever leaves your machine — not even logs.
mcpbus phones home only for license validation. Query results and logs stay local.
